ATK Tactical Systems is seeking a Director of PES (Continuous Improvement) for an exciting opportunity located out of its Fenton, Missouri location (Eagle Industries). The Director of PES is responsible for the following duties:

* Guides all levels of division management to aggressively introduce and advance PES and lean manufacturing as the continuous improvement culture within the division.
* In collaboration with plant managers, drives projects to achieve the division?s cost reduction targets as well as non-financial metrics in areas of delivery, quality, product flow, and improved customer experience.
* Leads continuous improvement throughout the division using PES and increases efficiency in manufacturing operations through contemporary Lean Manufacturing and Supply Chain management concepts, tools and methods.
* Aggressively works to make PES self-sustaining; providing leadership and training for staff, plant managers, and others assigned to lead a division-wide coordinated program.

* Measures overall effectiveness of PES and serves as a conduit for best practice sharing across the division.

Experience and Education Requirements:

* Bachelor?s degree in a technical or business field
* Minimum of five (5) years in a managerial role and/or technical leadership role
* Strong experience in Lean Manufacturing/Lean Business Practices
* Experience with conversions to Lean Manufacturing cultures
* Demonstrated success in effectively influencing change in a matrixed/cross-functional environment

* Build relationships with key buyers and meet sales objectives of the territory, regions and company
* Assess current / potential businesses and strategize to provide business growth for the International sector
* Guide and direct the activities of the International distribution network
* Participate in various phases of sales activities including; pricing, discounting, contracts, terms, export regulations, customer liaison activities, and competitive pricing analysis
* Attend shows and conduct product sales seminars for international distributors and law enforcement/military end users
* Investigate and maintain knowledge of competition and competitive landscape
* Provide timely and accurate reports as assigned

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

* Bachelor?s degree in Business or related field required, MBA desired
* 3-5 years proven sales experience, 3-5 years of law enforcement experience or advanced degree required
* Excellent product demonstration and presentation skills, foreign language preferred

Description

-Maintain stable production processes and product quality, new process development, process optimization, continuous improvement, data collection/analysis, materials selection, equipment/facilities selection and implementation/maintenance.

-Provide CATIA V5 support in the form of digital product definition management, data interpretation, generation of derivative data sets, and application of specialized CATIA V5 IUAs used within the composites industry.

-Provide numerical machine control programming for specialized equipment.

-Participate in tooling design, fact finding, failure investigations, procedure preparation/review, support of maintenance personnel, and general status monitoring of multiple tasks and programs.

-Activities will include tool preparation, hand lay-up, fiber-placement, prepreg cutting, vacuum bagging, composite surface preparation, bonding, curing, autoclaving and the like.

- Interface with all levels and departments of plant as well as operators, supervision, and maintenance personnel to complete assigned tasks.

Requirements

-2 or more years experience actively using CATIA V5 for creations of models and/or assemblies. Candidate wil be required to demonstrate CATIA V5 skills.
